Early years trip to La Granja

WELLBEING

HEALTHY BODIES, ACTIVE MINDS

We want our students to have everything they need to follow their passions and confidently push boundaries. Wellbeing is a vital part of this. 

Our dedicated pastoral team takes the lead when it comes to student health and happiness. From the early years, we dedicate time, resources, and care to helping our students flourish. We focus on 'emotional education', guiding them to become socially, personally, and ethically aware. Our youngest are encouraged to discuss their feelings in the classroom, while in primary school students learn mindfulness as part of a daily routine. During weekly martial arts and Tai-Chi activities, they also get to let off some steam!

In secondary school, every student meets with their tutor weekly. They actively foster an inclusive culture where your child will feel comfortable and can embrace who they are.

GIVING BACK TO OUR COMMUNITY

Our students are a genuine force for good. Whether they're improving sustainability in school or fundraising for charities, they take a hands-on approach to problem-solving in our community. 

Many of our students assist local and global organisations, supporting those in need through food drives, toy collections, and school-wide fundraisers. These valuable service projects nurture their personal character and help them develop qualities including respect, kindness, honesty, and commitment.

BEYOND THE CLASSROOM

AFTER-SCHOOL CARE AND BREAK CLUBS

Hamelin-Laie’s before- and after-school care programme gives students the chance to take part in safe, supervised recreation on campus. Our programme also gives parents peace of mind while their children catch up on schoolwork or immerse themselves in stimulating activities with friends. 

Throughout the year, we host ‘school break clubs’, which are action-packed holiday camps. Each club is an opportunity for students to make new friends and have fun on our beachside campus.
