Strong University Pathways from Barcelona

At Hamelin-Laie, your child’s learning journey is designed with the future in mind. Our structured pathway supports them at every stage, all the way to university and beyond.

In the early years, students follow the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC), where learning is play-based, inquiry-led, and centred around curiosity and independence. As children grow, they move into the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) and the International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC). These frameworks encourage students to think critically, make connections across subjects, and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.

In Secondary School, students can choose between two internationally recognised pathways: the IB Diploma Programme and the National Baccalaureate Programme. Both pathways are designed to support students’ individual strengths, ambitions, and future aspirations, while providing a rigorous and personalised education.

In 2026, our National Baccalaureate students achieved an average university admission mark of 11.01 out of 14, reflecting the strength of our academic support and commitment to student success. In the IB Diploma Programme, our students achieved an average score of 31.0 points, with one standout student earning an impressive 43 points out of a possible 45, a result that places them among the highest-performing IB students globally.
